D1.1: Project Management and Quality Plan

The aim of the Project Management and Quality Plan is to prepare the management scheme to be applied in order to ensure the effective administration of the project and its timely completion to the highest quality standards. It also includes the overall risk management of the project which intent to document all activities undertaken to identify the risks potentially affecting the project, the actions defined to mitigate those risks and the monitoring of risk changes.

The Project Management and Quality Plan is a living document. Therefore it is re-issued every 6 months to reflect any changes to Tasks or schedule caused due to delays, acquired knowledge, external factors etc. The risk management plan will be updated – if necessary – more often than every 6 months.

The Project Management and Quality Plan presents:

  • An overview of the project.
  • The project management structure.
  • The technical approach of each WP/ Task, the project deliverables and the budget and resources allocation per WP.
  • The risk management plan and the risk register database.
