D4.3: User Interfaces for the Operation of EPBs

This document presents the user interface components that will support the interactions required by the use cases in the three buildings. These interactions have been extracted from the collected use cases produced by the building owners, which cover the operations of the PEBBLE system in the buildings.

In chapter 2, the use cases are described. The present list corresponds to all the major interactions found in EPB buildings for operating the PEBBLE system. Chapter 3 identifies the necessary interactions and proposes a number of interactive components for performing these interactions.

Chapter 4 provides a comprehensive list of functional UI components (e.g. button, switch, lists) that can be combined to fore the complete interactive application of the PEBBLE system. Detailed descriptions of these components are also provided.

Chapter 5 lists and describes additional non-functional UI components (e.g. window, menus) that are usually necessary for providing a structure and framework to the functional UI components.

Chapter 6 describes the human interaction devices (e.g. screen, loudspeaker) that can be used to actually perform the interaction.

Chapter 7 describes the Saia devices that will be used in the three EPB sites.

Chapter 8 is the mapping between the use case and the actual location where they will be performed within the three demonstrations buildings.
